“I hope you'll be here forever” said my boss once, and to some extent he's right: work itself is a homogeneous space, and no matter what specifically I do for my needs in housing and food, I will work anyway.
of course, the place where I spend five days a week can't help but seep into my music. there is less time for it, the ability to perceive music by itself, as if there is neither me, nor the context in which I am, disappeared.
in "eleven fragments of labor", I pushed these two spaces together: on the one hand, music, which clearly lacks context - short fragments, unfinished melodies, premature dramaturgy; on the other hand, field recordings from work - the noise of machines and tools, the voices of my colleagues, among whom I wandered around with a recorder like a some kind of spy.
despite the unifying theme, all fragments are completely autonomous and can be played in any order.
