These recordings were largely inspired by nature, and were all recorded during a provincial lockdown, during which I found myself getting outside quite frequently on walks and hikes. I became fascinated with attempting to capture the essence of the natural locations I'd been visiting during this time. Each piece is either built around a highly reverberated guitar recording, or a highly reverberated digital synth recording with additional textures often recorded in an improvisational manner and layered in.

The album photograph is a shot from one such exploration of nature.

As the tracks on this release were all largely inspired by nature, I wanted to use this minialbum an opportunity to reinvest in the natural world. With each digital purchase of this release, $1 will be donated to One Tree Planted (a reforestation nonprofit), which will go towards funding for their planting project in Ontario, Canada.
