In a perfect world this track would be 5 minutes long. But since we live in the one we’ve got it’s just a little bit longer. Voices come in all at once and fall in and out of sync like metronomes set to different tempos. What’s left is one lone person keeping track of time for the rest of us.


Kyrie

This was the beginning of an unfinished Mass for the ukulele. Six uke patches ring out with elements of late 60’s/early 70’s minimalism. A little Reich, a little Adams, and some Tiny Tim.


Compiled Gospel

For the former church-goers out there this track might remind them of being bored sitting in a pew. The readings run together, the air is a little stagnant and thick with too much perfume, and after a while the only thing that remains is the breath.
